The Salvation Army of Whitley County is run by Christine Scroggs. Her office is hosted by The First Church of God in Columbia City, but her services are available to anyone who live in our county.

The Salvation Army has programs to help with many needs individuals may be struggling with; such as clothing, utilities, food, school supplies and shoes, Christmas help and more. All services that The Salvation Army supplies are at no cost to the clients in need. All services are supported by donations through individuals, our red kettles, or grants. We accept financial donations, as well as donations of items to use for our services.

There is always a need for donations of time as well! Opportunities to volunteer are many with programs for School supplies, Coats, Food, Christmas gifts, Bell Ringing, sorting, furniture and more! Christine is the only employee for Whitley County, and is always needing extra hands and feet to support the programs and fill needs in our community.
