The Safety Team is responsible for ensuring that our attendees have a safe and secure venue for worshipping on Sunday mornings. This includes being aware of entry ways, classrooms, etc. as well as being available to address any needs that arise regarding the wellbeing of all attendees.

People who may be well suited for this ministry: People who care about providing a place for meaningful worship, those who have a servant's heart, and are highly aware of the environment of public gatherings.

Qualifications: Someone who has been a part of the local church family a sufficient time to know many of the regulars; who is a frequent attender him/her self; who is comfortable taking initiative when needed and is not easily intimidated; and is willing to undergo a criminal background check, as well as brief training. More detailed qualifications would be covered during training. Team members would need to stay for both worship services once a month.

We could utilize people with some medical background, such as nursing or EMT in the unlikely event of a medical emergency. These individuals could be seen as serving on an as needed basis.
